What to Expect

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Kingdom Church a great one!

  • How long is a Kingdom Church service?

In total, a Kingdom Church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the worship team leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable.

After the music portion of the service is complete, one of our pastors will come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.

  • What’s the Kingdom Experience?

Sundays at Kingdom Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

We desire to develop a community of believers throughout the city of Waxhaw that would fulfill their God-given call as they share faith with one another and become part of this great family.

  • What about my kids?

We believe that kids should be able to have fun at church and are capable of learning the truths about life found in God’s word – at Kingdom Explorers, we make these two things high priority.

Our Children’s Pastor, Landon brings deep Bible Study to a level kids can understand, mixed in with games and activities that keep kids engaged each week!

We also make your children’s safety a priority with our detailed check-in process that is simple and secure. If it’s your first time joining us, you’ll want to give yourself and extra 10 minutes to get your kids signed in and check out their classrooms.

Our Beliefs

Kingdom Church is a Pentecostal church in the Assemblies of God. We adhere to the AG Fundamental Truths and Position Papers. Here you will find a quick reference for what we believe.

  • Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is at the center of everything. We believe that Jesus is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

  • The Trinity

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.

  • The Bible

We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

  • The Separation

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.

  • The Reconciliation

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and a fresh start with God, we must repent of our sins, believe in Jesus, and commit to His will for our lives.

  • The Church

We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together.
